The National flag may be in the form of a paper or a cloth. Whosoever tears it is considered to be a traitor. Why show so much indignation when a piece of paper or cloth is torn? (In answer to this) do we not say the anger is not for tearing the piece of paper or cloth but for the emotion associated with the spirit of the Nation embossed on it? Even so, when the mind of the Maharshis is imprinted on the idol, it is not a mere stone. The vision in their innermost recesses of the heart has been stamped on the stone. The worship is for this vision alone.
