It is true that Saptarshis (the seven great seers) visit the temple for the darshan of Lord Srinivasa. But, I came across a ridiculous person who said the greatness of the place was that the nest built by the wasps on the wall of the Sanctum was their chosen path for the darshan and they arrive only after being by bitten by these wasps!
