While in the lower rungs of a Chariot, cartoon-like pictures are painted, the procedure is to sketch the paintings of Saints, Rishis, Gods etc in the higher rungs. If we limit ourselves to our own (lowest) level, what we obtain would be the satirical pictures alone. On the other hand, if we raise our sight a little bit, we would see the Lord. This scheme of setting comic strips in the lower strata, mirrors the way we lead our lives - though the Lord is present in our lives, we forget Him (and go in our own way). After seeing these pictures, if we raise our vision well above and view with that elevated vision, the following saying would be meaningful: Rathastham Keshavam drshtvaa punarjanma na vidyate - (There is no re-birth once Keshava seated in the Chariot is realized).
