Shrutis and smrutis may declare that the Lord projected his divine Feet to occupy and measure all the three worlds: Tredhaa nidadhe padam. This can be understood only through a direct experience. On the other hand, if one tries to comprehend it through external form alone, it becomes ridiculous; for, we may be wondering: "how can the idol inside an enclosure which we are seeing before our own eyes occupy the three worlds?"!
