Observe the evolution of Life Principle. That Praṇava which was originally in the form of Jyoti and then Nāda has continuously put its foot forward in the evolution. While the infant emerges from the womb of the mother following the steps of Jyoti, the mother who rears the child should see that its steps are in concurrence with its previous steps. When she does this, she qualifies for the tribute expressed in the dictum "Mātṛ dev́ ó bhava" and deserves to be worshiped. If ever we had mothers who would make their tiny tots follow the footsteps of the Lord, our country would certainly not have been in this sorry state of affairs.
