Gṛhiṇī means one who accepts him as her Pati (husband) who represents the Lord, and with a firm mind recognizes him to be the 'Paradaiva (Supreme Lord). "Ardhāmgi" signifies that she represents half of his body and in every aspect of life travels along with him in both Yoga and Bhoga; she leads a life for attaining the four cardinal principles of life, directing her senses not according to her own will but supporting His will and working for the delight of the Lord.
