Although the Jīva derives many pleasures through the senses, it gets its fulfillment only when it acquires the joy specific to it. For, neither the eye accepts music nor the ear a picture. Therefore each one must be presented with only specific items designed for it. In this spirit Deva (Supreme Lord) is the object ear-marked for Jīva. It is only when Jīva gains Deva, it attains ever-lasting Peace.
