All Jīvis, in the form of beads, are strung onto the Lord's string called Satya. As long as the beads remain bound to this strand they form a garland. On the other hand, if they don't conform to the discipline of Satya and remain outside, the result is not a Hāra (garland) but only Samhāra (death).
